After first falling in love with tea as a tasty and lower caffeine option, I soon became fascinated with learning more about the culture and traditions that developed around this global beverage’s almost 5,000 year history.
As my knowledge grew, I began hosting educational tea tastings to share my passion with the people around me. I realized that the world of tea can be intimidating and without learning basic brewing skills, can be a bitter and frustrating experience.
I created Tenmoku Tea as an opportunity to share the tea, tools, and skills needed for an elevated experience. By making personal relationships with small tea producers and ceramics dealers, I can ensure the quality and uniqueness of all the products I sell.
